MAN lights the fuse on a stick of dynamite, tosses it through the broken
window of an abandoned double-wide, and runs for cover. A little while
later, FIRE explodes in every direction, causing large fragments of
weathered aluminum to SPEED through the air and come to rest all over
ground, where they make that cool pinging sound that heated metal makes when
it’s cooling off. Imagine a world without this.
